Why did you receive a statement?

Patients might receive a statement for services rendered or for products purchased. Some common reasons for receiving a balance statement are:

  • You may have a health insurance policy that includes patient cost-sharing in the form of a copay, deductible or coinsurance.

  • You have received services or products that are not covered with your insurance.

  • You are self-pay and are not using health insurance.

  • You may have underpaid for the services or products you have received, leaving a balance on your account.
